At Namibia Dairies, we believe in coming together not only to produce the finest dairy products but also to support meaningful causes that impact our community. This year, on 25 October, our team proudly showed their support for breast cancer awareness by donning vibrant pink wigs – or hair nets - and attire, as part of our ongoing commitment to health and wellness advocacy.

The team’s enthusiasm was on full display, from cheerful poses to energetic participation. Whether collecting donations for CAN or spreading the message of hope and resilience, our team members embodied the spirit of unity and care that defines Namibia Dairies. Through the Shake-A-Can initiative—aimed at highlighting the importance of early detection and treatment while providing critical support for cancer research and awareness campaigns across the country—we took a stand in the fight against breast cancer. Among those leading the charge was Nazeema Husselmann, our Employee Engagement Practitioner, who said:

"Breast cancer is a reality that affects so many lives, whether directly or through family, friends or colleagues. It’s inspiring to see our team step up, wearing pink with pride and actively participating in the Shake-A-Can initiative. It’s through these small, yet significant, actions that we bring attention to the power of early detection and the importance of supporting one another."
