Namibia Dairies is proud to celebrate Namibia’s 35th Independence Day on 21 March 2025 by launching limited-edition labels for our 2kg Oshikandela and Culture Collection ranges.

‍These vibrant designs honour the nation's rich heritage through distinctly Namibian imagery: traditional huts and grazing cattle, Omahangu or Mielie pap, braaivleis around open fires, our national flag and playful expressions of our unique vernacular like Aweh, lekker and Ai titse. Every element reflects the pride, unity and cultural diversity that defines Namibia.

‍For decades, Namibia Dairies has been part of the fabric of Namibian life. From energizing the workforce to nourishing families, our iconic products have brought people together and kept traditions alive. Oshikandela, Namibia’s most loved drinking yoghurt, has been a companion to both cultural celebrations and modern lifestyles since 2004.

Culture Collection’s Omaere and Oshitaka augment this heritage, offering staples deeply rooted in tradition. Omaere’s authentic, fermented taste and Oshitaka’s filling maize porridge with nutritious yoghurt are reminders of home, family and shared meals. Both are packed with essential nutrients like protein and calcium, nourishing generations of Namibians.

‍This Independence Day, Namibia Dairies invites you to celebrate your pride, your culture and your legacy with these special packs. Together, let’s toast to freedom, flavour and the vibrant journey of Namibia over the past 35 years – and looking forward.
