As Namibia approaches its 35th Independence Anniversary on March 21, 2025, Namibia Dairies joins the nation in celebrating our shared journey of progress, resilience and innovation, a milestone particularly significant as we welcome the inauguration of our nation's first female president, Her Excellency Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.
Over the past three and a half decades, Namibia has made great strides in agriculture and manufacturing—industries fundamental to economic sustainability, food security and employment creation. As a key player in the dairy sector, Namibia Dairies is proud to have contributed to these advancements through a strong focus on local partnerships, innovation and people development.
Our success is rooted in meaningful collaboration. The mutually beneficial partnerships with farmers in the Hardap region for the supply of high-quality fodder components to the Aimab Superfarm ensure a stable and sustainable feed supply for our dairy operations. Likewise, our close cooperation with and support of milk farmers in the Gobabis district bolster local dairy production, securing a future for Namibian milk farming. These partnerships strengthen our industry and contribute to the overall resilience of Namibia’s agricultural sector.
At the heart of our growth is our people. At Namibia Dairies and across the O&L Group, we believe in the power of continuous learning and skills development. Through training initiatives, mentorship programs and on-the-job learning, we empower our teams to innovate, grow and lead. Our people are the driving force behind our success, embodying the O&L persona—being resilient, future-focused, passionate, and committed to creating a better Namibia every day.
The support from the Namibian government has been instrumental in our journey. Policies that promote agricultural development, infrastructure investments and a conducive business environment continue to empower companies like ours to thrive. We express our gratitude to the government for its continuous commitment to the growth of the agricultural and manufacturing sectors.
Looking ahead, we are optimistic about the future. Namibia Dairies remains committed to driving progress through innovation, sustainability and excellence. We continue to explore new opportunities to expand our product lines, grow our portfolio and contribute meaningfully to the prosperity of our nation and its people.
On this momentous occasion, we celebrate not only Namibia’s independence but also the resilience, ambition, and determination of its people. Together, we have built a strong and dynamic country. Together, we will continue to reach new heights.
Happy 35th Independence Anniversary, Namibia!
