Founded as the Rietfontein Cooperative Creamery in 1946, the company evolved in 1997 as Namibia Dairies (Pty) Ltd., a subsidiary of the Ohlthaver & List Group.
Significant milestones on our journey include the integration of the O&L farming division in 2007 and the establishment of the !Aimab Superfarm in Mariental in 2009. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the Superfarm epitomises our commitment to innovation and excellence.
Our diverse product range encompasses fresh and long-life milk, fresh cream, traditional fermented milk products, fruit juices and dairy blends under leading brands such as Nammilk™, Oshikandela™, Culture Collection Omaere, Culture Collection Oshitaka, Rietfontein™, Sunsation™, Snackies™ and Dairylove™, in addition to a variety of yoghurt products under their stand-alone brands. Our 460 employees are undoubtedly our greatest assets. Our collective expertise stretches across our entire value chain, from our farmers at the source to our food scientists in the lab and from our processing operators to our quality inspectors and packers in the factories.
We have our dedicated distribution teams and our sales, telesales and national accounts, as well as merchandiser teams to thank for getting our products to consumers on time, always at the best-possible quality. The insight and enthusiasm put forward by our trade and consumer marketers enables us to connect with our consumers in a meaningful way.
We source our milk from approved Namibian milk producers, who manufacture to the stringent national rBST hormone and GMO-free regulations. Throughout, we ensure our entire product range consistently meets the highest quality standards.
We are currently migrating our quality assurance system to FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification), the internationally recognised quality management system that ensures continuous focus and improvement.
