We’re thrilled to share that Namibia Dairies has reached an exciting milestone with our very first export shipment to Zimbabwe! On 15 July 2024, we dispatched 32 pallets of our recently launched Rietfontein Long Life juices—part of our flagship nectar range. This achievement comes after nearly eight months of hard work, discussions, and close collaboration with our partners and regulating agencies to ensure we met all export and import requirements.
We're proud to be working with Doltek, our trusted partner with over 12 years of experience in redistributing products in Zimbabwe. As the official distributor for Heineken and Namibia Breweries (Pty) Ltd. in Zimbabwe, Doltek will ensure that our juices are carefully distributed and merchandised across the country, bringing the high quality you expect from Namibia Dairies to consumers throughout Zimbabwe.
As Wynand Oosthuizen, Namibia Dairies Chairperson, put it, "We are incredibly excited and proud, but more than that, we are genuinely passionate about the opportunities this opens up for our company and our country. We aim to make this shipment the first of many, ideally opening the way for more of our products to find their way onto Zimbabwean shelves and homes. This strategic move is not just about growth; it's about our commitment to making a positive impact, ensuring long-term sustainability, and enhancing the livelihoods of our people."
This export is a testament to our commitment to expanding our market reach, building strong economic ties, and uplifting the communities we engage with. By entering the Zimbabwean market, we’re bringing our exceptional products to a new audience and contributing to regional trade and cooperation. This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to see the meaningful economic and social benefits this venture will bring to both Namibia and Zimbabwe.
